Experience the power of the number 8 and its legendary luck in xcom2 Malaysia's most iconic slot game. 888 Dragons combines three legendary dragons with modern slot mechanics to deliver extraordinary wins for players who play smart.
In Asian culture, the number 8 is a symbol of prosperity, good fortune and endless abundance. 888 Dragons at xcom2 draws fully on this belief through three sacred dragons that multiply your luck.
Three dragons. Three layers of fortune. One platform – xcom2.
888 Dragons stands out as the most distinctive Asian-themed slot in the xcom2 collection, built around a concept rarely seen elsewhere – three separate dragons, each with its own traits and powers, coming together in a single game to deliver extraordinary wins. This is no ordinary slot with attractive graphics; it is a richly layered experience steeped in Asian cultural meaning that Malaysian players will instantly recognise and appreciate.
At xcom2, 888 Dragons runs on a five-reel format with 88 active paylines — another nod to the lucky number 8 at the heart of this game. Each payline unlocks a different winning opportunity, and with a maximum multiplier reaching x8,888, every spin holds the potential to change your fortune in mere seconds.
What truly sets 888 Dragons apart from other Asian slots on xcom2 is its independently operated Three Dragon system. The Red Dragon represents fire and courage, the Purple Dragon represents mystery and wisdom, and the Golden Dragon represents wealth and prosperity. Each dragon has its own Wild and Scatter symbols — meaning in a single game, you are essentially playing three dimensions of fortune at once.
Many Malaysian players who were once hesitant to try 888 Dragons have since made it their go-to game at xcom2. What makes it stand out is that it suits all levels — beginners can start with bets as low as RM0.20 and explore the mechanics at their own pace, while seasoned players can go straight for higher stakes to fully capitalise on the three-tier progressive jackpot system.
Like all games at xcom2, 888 Dragons winnings are credited to your account instantly. Withdrawals can be made via DuitNow, Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay or FPX Maybank2u — no hassle involved. xcom2 ensures a smooth deposit and withdrawal experience so you can stay fully focused on the game.
Each dragon brings its own style, symbols and win mechanics. Understanding the strengths of each one will help you sharpen your strategy at xcom2.
A fierce and daring Fire Dragon. Its Blazing Wild symbol doubles winnings 2x when triggered, and it frequently activates fiery free spins with additional multipliers.
A dragon of mystery and deep wisdom. The Purple Crystal Wild expands to cover the entire reel. Most likely to trigger the 88 Free Spins feature with a casual 3x multiplier.
The ultimate Wealth Dragon, bringing the greatest prosperity. Its Gold Coin Wild symbol can create winning combinations across all 88 paylines simultaneously. Guardian of the xcom2 Grand Jackpot.
888 Dragons is packed with special features that make every spin unique and full of big-win potential.
888 Dragons' exclusive feature – when all three Wild symbols of the three dragons appear simultaneously in a single spin, Triple Dragon Fusion is activated. The entire game board turns Wild for 3 consecutive spins with an x8 multiplier.
Land 3 or more Scatter symbols to trigger up to 88 free spins. During Free Spins, the number of ways to win expands using the Megaways mechanic – potentially millions of combinations in a single session.
888 Dragons at xcom2 offers three distinct jackpots – the Mini Jackpot (starting from RM800), the Major Jackpot (accumulating from RM8,000), and the Grand Jackpot (which has peaked at RM888,000 in xcom2 Malaysia's records).
When the number 8 lands in a special combination, the Lucky 8 Respin feature is triggered – you get 8 respins with the centre reel locked on a Wild symbol. Double the chances to complete a winning line.
888 Dragons renders in full resolution across all devices. The dragons soaring across the screen look just as vivid whether you're playing on your phone on the LRT or on a laptop at home.
A dramatic Asian soundtrack paired with authentic dragon sound effects makes 888 Dragons at xcom2 a fully immersive sensory experience. Use headphones for the best effect.
Understand the value of every symbol and plan your betting strategy on xcom2 more effectively.

One thing that makes 888 Dragons stand out in the xcom2 slots collection is the depth of strategy it supports. This isn't a game where you simply spin and hope for the best – there are specific approaches you can take to improve your chances of landing more consistent wins.
First, understand the differences between the three dragons. The Red Dragon triggers bonuses more quickly but at lower values. The Purple Dragon offers a balance between win frequency and value. The Gold Dragon behaves like a high-volatility slot – wins may be less frequent, but when they land, they can be life-changing. New players on xcom2 are advised to start with the Purple Dragon for a more well-rounded experience.
Second, don't treat the 88 Free Spins as the sole measure of whether a session is good or bad. Because 888 Dragons uses Megaways mechanics during Free Spins, the real value depends on the number of active ways to win on each spin — not just the number of spins awarded. Every spin in Free Spins mode can produce thousands of different winning combinations.
Third, use xcom2's Auto-Play feature wisely. Set a maximum loss limit and an auto-stop win limit to protect your bankroll while letting the game run at its best. The most successful 888 Dragons players at xcom2 are those who know when to stop once they've hit their daily win target.
